It was when you died.
She wears a sadistic grin this time around. Button’s collar twirling around her finger. She walks towards you, her heels making echoing clicks in the silent house.
“Expecting someone else?” She flicks the collar off to the side. Your back presses against the door as she finally gets close enough to you to put her hands against the door on either side of your head. Her grin turns into more of a sneer as she looks down at you.
“It’s insulting, really. Your boy sticks her neck out for you, gives you a second chance at life, and you don’t even give her the time of day? Dick move, man. Dick move.”
You have no idea what to say. You avoid looking at her and focus on the collar discarded on the floor.
“And when I finally get you alone, really alone, all you can talk about is your stupid fucking cat? Tch. At a certain point, it starts to look pretty deliberate.”
One of her hands snakes around your head and tugs harshly on your hair tilting your head up to look her in the eyes, the other hand moves to cradle your jaw.
“Started to think that it was all too much of a hassle, that I should have stuck with my original plan and kept your soul tucked away in my back pocket, let me play with you whenever I wanted. But, you bitched and moaned, and I relented, thinking you’d be more grateful than this. Looking at you now though…” A blush spreads across her face and a lecherous smile spreads across her face, and she presses herself up against you, pinning you against the door.
“I think you being flesh and blood makes this a hell of a lot more interesting, and you’re gonna start making it all up to me, aren’t you?” She demands more than she asks. You finally find your voice.
“I-” She smacks you so hard you feel your teeth rattle.
“The only thing I want to hear from you is ‘Yes, Mori.”, got that?”
Your cheek burns, but you can’t tell if it’s from shame or the strike.
“Y-yes, Mori.”
“Good~. Now, you’re gonna start making up for all your bullshit, right?”
“Yes, Mori.” She leans close enough for you to feel her breath on your face.
“You’re gonna sit in this big empty house and wait for me to come over every day, aren’t you?”
“Yes, Mori.” Your noses are touching.
“You gonna run across the street to me whenever I call?”
“Yes, Mori.” She doesn’t lean in any closer. She waits, looking into your eyes.
“Will you kiss me?” Her voice is quiet and breathy.
You can’t stop yourself.
“Yes, Mori.”
“Then do it.”
You lean forward, you press your lips to her and she immediately grabs the back of your head with both hands, pulling you harder against her. She forces her tongue into your mouth.
You fall headfirst into the abyss.
