I have to compromise somewhere. Either some of the characters, namely the drill sergeants/superiors, or going to be firm and ready which is completely antithetical to who the chuubas are, or I can temper it back a bit. I'm trying to have it both ways and do a "stern in public, familial in private" sorta thing, but I am genuinely confused how people expect me to write Holos as drill sergeants and not have them be even slightly out of character in the process lol.
I can give this more grit, but if I give it more grit, I don't want to hear "but she's not in character from anybody." Tell me what you'd rather and I'll make it so, just don't complain about it.
