But if she was lying to scare off any stalkers and doesn't have a security system installed then order one one of those handheld radios because something is picking up radio signals and the microphone is picking up the feedback from it, your ASMR microphone wouldn't do this by itself but most expensive audio equipment goes both ways and you can plug headphones into a microphone port and it as a microphone and that's why your microphone can hear the radio
I'm not saying your landlord is spying on you taking a shower Pippa, but I am saying it would not cost him any money if he felt inclined to keep an eye on his tenants for property damage using covert wifi cameras and microphones, these things are dirt fucking cheap now and you would never find them unless you were actively looking for them
