>>17766256>but I'd never learn an entirely different language just so I could watch JP chuubasI don't think that could ever work as a main motivator but more of something extra you could do from acquiring the knowledge, I started because there are a multitude of media that I like that is never going to get translated like old games and VNs, anime and manga were a side thing, and when I got interested in vtubers I was already learning so it was an extra for me.
