Today I had the epiphany that Ember is a tomboy. I don't know how I didn't realise it before because it seems so obvious now that I think about it, but it just never crossed my mind despite being a fan for over two years and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else describe her as one. Maybe the tweet about her getting a boyish haircut finally made it click or something.
This realisation has changed my life, I love her even more now.
