>>90342776In Pokemon, the generic "draw 3" limited support is a staple of pre-constructed starter decks, same with the generic "shuffle and draw 5". These kind of cards are never playable in any competitive setting. Mainly because there are better alternatives to dig for specific cards, but also because there are often better versions of the effect, like "shuffle and draw 6", or "draw 3 and attach a cheer from the archive", etc.
The fact that Nodoka and Mane-chan are staples is an indication that the limited support lineup is very weak, and I wish they would stop with those Gravity clones already.
Or maybe this is an indication of the powerlevel they're aiming for, and we aren't getting anything better anytime soon. I'm not asking for a Professor's Research equivalent though, that card is just dumb.
