>>63010003The reason why people with ADHD / ADD struggle to concentrate and often jump from topic to topic or just act hyper is because their brain is actually UNDER stimulated on a chemical level and they're basically compensating for the brain not releasing enough stimulant chemicals by forcing it to output more stimulant chemicals by shoving new stuff in front of the brain for it to react to every 30 seconds. A stimulant makes a person with ADHD calm down because once their brain has all of the happy chemicals it needs it's not yelling at them for more stimulation all the time.
