>>8712896I don't think any NijiEN fans were worried about HoloEN2 stealing their viewership. Most NijiEN viewers watch them specifically because they operate totally differently from Hololive. You can't just fix that by getting new talents when they have the same restrictions and expectations.
Personally I watched HoloEN2's debuts since nobody in Nijisanji was streaming but haven't really watched them after that. Nobody really got my attention except Baelz and I can tell she already feels like she's being stifled by Hololive's restrictions.
I bet Mori regrets joining Hololive over Nijisanji too but I guess she couldn't have since they didn't have an EN branch at that point. Nijisanji would actually give her marketing to promote her music like when they bought Youtube Ads for Diamond City Lights and Black Out. They'd let her collab with any of the indies she wants to and make music with them. Fans wouldn't harass her roommate on Twitter or dislike-bomb her channel for collabing with m*les. Unironically Nijisanji has more music-oriented talents than Hololive and a lot of connections with established producers in the music industry. The only reason anyone would join Hololive is for the stable paycheck. Those with ambitions to do vtubing as a passion tend to join Nijisanji.
