The other crew members are Swansea, the mechanic who has fallen into full blown alcoholism now, Daisuke who is an intern working under Swansea, Anya the nurse, and the captain, Curly. Curly was generally well-liked, which leads to confusion from both the other crew members and the player as to why he crashed the ship in the first place. In the days leading up to the crash, Curly got a fax from Pony Express that informed them that the company would be going out of business soon, so this would be the crew's last job before they all are laid off.
