Nowadays it's just retards trying to fit in, you wouldn't be able to tell whether a post was made from a PC or a phone unless something absurdly obvious gave it away, like some fag with an iPhone posting an image since the filename would give it away, someone complaining about image sizes on some boards like /b/ since those resize images for phones making them smaller or egregious typos from people who are posting from their phones while drunk or just letting the auto correct run wild
