you can look at revzilla for an example of a larger channel that segregates content
they really should use multiple channels, but they started as a gear review channel for the company and branched out over time
gear reviews don't show up in your sub feed or get recommended much unless you're really into that niche
people sub to them for their podcast/challenge/shop content
would they be doing better if they split it? maybe, but as you can see their actual content isn't fucked by the reviews
