I liked Isaac more before the item pool got super weird and diluted with a bunch of weird crap. I feel like it's so hard to just get decent stats nowadays. And the super armor on bosses makes glass cannon builds basically useless because you always need durability. But that devalues things like devil deals, and trading red hearts for black/soul hearts, which were predicated around the idea that the risk/reward for big damage was reduced durability.

So you have a system where it's hard to get decent stats without going for devil deals, but the system also punishes you for using them because now you don't have the durability you need to get through the bosses. But if you don't take the deals your stats will suck and clearing rooms/killing bosses will take AGES, and you'll inevitably take more hits because you're not killing stuff fast enough and you'll need to dodge more attacks.

I feel like Mumei will need to get her health, ADHD and sleep under control before she can actually work a normal 9-5 job. With how much she struggles with concentrating, deadlines, getting sick and stuff like that she really needs the flex Hololive offers right now.
