>>90916462im gonna let you in on a little secret boyo, networking in vtubing is the most bullshit thing ever devised because the reality is that everyone here is a total mismatch of either personality or content, and most of the people who do hang out are just doing so for the most shallow of reasons. vtubing is defined by the use of a cartoon avatar instead of your real face but this is like saying two people who wear jackets can be friends. you can't just force a friendship over a fashion choice when there are so many other people in the same space you are occupying
in the end, the reality is that this is a hobby about content creation. what are you are willing to put time into and show off is going to be what defines you to the others around you. playing videogames isn't enough unless you are doing something so amazing that everyone's penises and wombs blow up. a lot of work goes into figuring out what you want to show off in the first place, let alone creating those things afterwards. livestreaming and content creation is not for everyone, some people i've spoken to here literally treat it like a business just to stay motivated to grow and continue. If you are only here to make friends, i would highly suggest leaving and actually going off to join the community of some +3view you like and joining their discord instead of trying to force your stream to be a thing. you can then continue to stream, and the friends you make in those communities will be more likely to hang out with you as long as you share the same enthusiasm for that 3view and perhaps if you make some fun contributions or if the vtuber does community events, that vtuber may even notice you, and now you have the best networking of all time!!!!!!!
