For example, if someone was constantly posting about "X chuuba is cute" or posting twitter screen caps of them for no reason when they aren't even live and filling the thread up with it, it could make it seem like that persons audience are annoying and put new people off (unfortunately for lapin her viewers get this reputation).
It's also fine if people don't like your oshi (providing they aren't being cunts about it), but when you go on an aggressive crusade to defend them it doesn't look good either.
