Very high level chat and community engagement with some touching character lore fluff surrounding her jellyfish autism. But what really did it for me? Part way through she starts giving out these really barely into "grunts" in time with the character action. You know the kind Tenma or Panko really throw their full force behind and get into? Lia was putting out maybe 10% for the act, you could practically feel how limp her wrist was in the moment. It was beautiful. Partly coerced. Partly self disgusted at the performance. It only lasted for the briefest moment and I don't think I've caught in instance of her doing performative "gamer grunts" since then but it's probably one of the things that made me connect so deeply with Lia. There's just some extra little layer beneath everything she does that gently subverts the norm and creates a rich depth of character to her actions that makes me want to focus harder and catch every little trick she has in play. I REALLY REALLY like LIA LIA LIA.
