The devs aren't "ex"-google, they're just a google shell company. It's private so they don't have to disclose their investor information. The shell company only exists as plausible deniability in the event of a Final Yab, they can burn the whole company and then just reabsorb the employees with no actual loss and a huge gain in training data.
