>>75660937I have watched Chubas for years now and realized there are three main factors to becoming a successful V-tuber.
>Talent>Marketing>LuckYou need all three combined to rave your way to the top. Yes, grind and effort don't matter if you have those.
Kobo has it all at the start, but she loses her momentum in the middle because she loses one of those factors. Can you guess? Kobo still has her talent and has enough marketing, even the most shilled Chuba from the ID branch, so yeah, her luck is running out. She's unlucky that she is a naive little girl who made a bad choice in her career, and she's unlucky that management is such a bunch of incompetent cunts that keep debuffing her with the homoshilling. Despite these setbacks, Kobo's enduring talent and marketing acumen still label her a triumph in the Chuba realm.
There are many v-tubers out there who may be more talented than Kobo or Top Holos, but they didn't have the luck or enough mindshare from marketing to grow bigger.
Many V-tubers with luck are becoming viral, but they can't keep their thunder because they are talentless hacks.
Then, there are those who squander resources solely on marketing, failing to captivate audiences due to blandness or sheer misfortune.
Hololive is like the Holyland of luck and marketing for some Chubas, which is why there are low-tier Holo and shit; they only have guaranteed marketing from the brand, but maybe their talent does not stand out among the others or they lack the luck to ride their own thunder.
So back to the question, "Is Kobo still going to make it if she is not a holo?"
she has talent, but no one out there can guarantee marketing and luck as Holo, or............ maybe there are if she has luck.
