The people doesn’t need to invent reasons (and set grudge posts up) to anti Mori if they want, they can just pick a million incidents and go with it.
This was more a “backhanded praise”, like telling someone “what happened with you, you look gorgeous!”, with it serving both as praise for the current state and a veiled commentary on the past.
