The final yab for EN is discord chat leaks by someone in the new Gen revealing that the girls (yes, the current generation) are actually deeply disgusted by their fans and weeb culture in general. Gura in particular believes her fanbase is made up “primarily of pedophiles” and Kiara refers to her KFP employees as her little “army of incels and simps” behind their back. They all “jokingly” refer to their members as paypigs. Calli jokes about “how triggered” her fans would be if they found out she has a boyfriend, leading the other girls to agree about how pathetic the fans are in general for falling for the pure idol meme.
Naturally, this causes a pretty big backlash and causes all five of them to decline and they never reach the same numbers/growth again. Management fires the 1 girl from the new gen who leaks the chars, and makes the Gen1 girls who said the worst stuff go on a break, which in particular gives the other Gen2 girls a chance to promote themselves and supplant them. Some of the En1 girls when they return will lack the same energy as they did before, and will probably graduate when their contract is up. Amelia will remain because she will use her chatlogs to bolster her “toxic gamer” street cred, and viewers will still tune in just to get bullied by her, Kiara will tell her viewers “she didn’t really mean it” and she felt “peer pressued” to fit in becuase the other girls were saying it, and KFcoPe will believe her, and Ina will remain because Ina doesn’t give a fuck. But Gura and Calli will likely move on as a result from this incident, and the remaining 3 EN1 girls will be overtaken by EN2 entirely in numbers (after all, Gura’s fans have to go somewhere, and their goodwill is pretty burned on EN1).
