>>53572267I agree, as people said before the time limit is the soft word cap.
>>53572545Not 100% sure yet, we still need to iron a few things out. But if everyone's ok with the dates I've put in the rentry then we can begin the shilling on the 25th of this month.
>>53572649It's tough. I can see both sides of the argument here. Giving the writers a theme to stick to might restrict them and make any new writers not bother, but the same could happen when they can't think of anything because there's too much freedom. Do you (or any other Anons) have some suggestions that aren't too restricting? Something vague or easily up for interpretation.
Maybe we can have a few simple themes, as in multiple that the writers can follow.
>>53572713We can stick with the rules we've been using for this thread. As long as you don't write a full 10k word story with nothing but OCs and then say at the end, "Oh and Okayu was there too I guess", it qualifies.
>>53572766So like /hfz/ did with "Lord of the Board"? Not a bad idea. Maybe something like "/wg's/ writer of /vt/".
...Fuck. Yeah, that doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Hopefully someone can come up with a good name soon. If not I'm ok with sticking to /wg/'s 2023 writing contest.
