To finish off the night, update on my canal. This canal is meant to connect Deadbeat town to Atlantis, and by extension the waterways connected to that. This is the Calli's Boobs Tunnel meant to allow boats to travel through a hill that originally blocked my fishing village.
What I found was the river was easily traversed with only 5 blockages. Two were east to resolve, I dug one up and the other was a thin path made of cobblestone, so I just elevated a portion of it and let water pass. The other three are more complex.
One is a really big mount, which I'll simply dig up. The second is a farm, I don't know who owns the farm and what purviews I should respectfully follow, the lastly is the bridge between the Deadbeats and KFP, which I might have to convince the main KFP dude to elevate. After this the river leading to my town should be fully traversable.
