>>94051373The use your PNG. As long as the placement on the background is fitting and the effects look good, there's no problem. You could also add fun stuff like googly eyes or edited faces onto it if needed.
Generally I'd recommend investing a little into sticker-style skebs, you can find them on VGen for as little as 8 bux a piece. Some people do neat little scribble style ones for even less and the could probably get the job done too.
