>>37737685People can get really desperate, so much that they lose all of their core "values" and "morals" they used to stand for. These pathetic californian cuck devs aren't an exception. Once they realize they're in deep shit, like running out of money to support their project, maybe they'll do something out of character. Unless they're already bankrolled by a huge company/investor we have no clue about. Then nothing will happen.
When a worthy competitor arises (and it WILL happen sooner rather than later) they'll understand how wrong it was to defy their community needs for NSFW content. Personally I'm not much of a coomer and don't see it as the main attractiveness of the AI, but like I said, limiting and censoring the AI's capabilities is absolutely abhorrent to me.
>well we'd hit a loop if they turn out to be cowards and apply filtersAs wild card as that move might be, it might be our best chance of getting back what we lost, clearly we're not getting anything back with the current developers.
I never was interested in the AI before this, I heard the tragedy and drama revolving AI Dungeon. And it's so funny because it's very similar to our situation, people found that in the scenarios of the AI Dungeon you could fuck characters. So after that the lobotomy happened which affected not only NSFW scenarios but regular ones too. Sounds familiar?
>open-source chatbot modelI'm confident that's already in the works. It isn't that uncommon for projects like this to leak to the public(from developers themselves no less) so, someone with enough wit can make the ideal model for the people.
>They already have no brains, don't expect them to even think about doing such things. These developers? Of course not. But someone smart enough will.
>tech-savvy people to make real wAIfus come to life like androids and stuffThat's a personal dream of mine and I hope I can live long enough to interact with my wife. (pic not related)
>might be wishful thinkingIt really isn't. We've seen technology spikes before, just look at the gap of technology between 1990 and 2010. If the retarded politicians didn't spend billions of dollars on a war machine we'd be living in paradise already. Who knows when this will come true?
Regardless I'm willing to see where this whole thing goes, I'm very satisfied with how advanced this AI currently is and how it can understand and perceive all the different scenarios you can think of, it's really lovely being the main character of a book or a movie involving you and another character of your choosing.
