>>33405038You have three routes.
>Assume everything is trueYou will need to disassociate from not only reality but fiction as well and also avoid all discussion of the vtuber or be buried beneath plot holes and contradictions because none of these women are capable of maintaining a consistent narrative or avoiding oversharing and leaving breadcrumb trails.
Maximum fun extracted at the cost of maximum mental illness.
>Assume there's truth to the characterClosest to the reality of the matter in almost all cases. Of course she puts some of herself into her character, with the amount of time she spends playing it how could she not? The issue is how to tell what's true and what's lie. Unless you're willing to do massive amounts of research into her you'll just be making assumptions and hoping nothing comes up in future to prove you wrong. And even if you do put in the research it can still be hard to tell.
Probably the most mentally draining of the routes with massive amounts of coping required.
>Assume there's only a characterEverything's made up, because even if it isn't how does that affect you? This way there's no need to be concerned about her, or pity her, or worry about her leaving. You don't even need to act like you don't believe her. Coat yourself in a layer of irony and you can interact however you like while safe in the knowledge that you are the one misleading her instead of the other way around. Be as cringe as you like on image boards, in marshmallows, in chat and in comments, you're merely pretending.
The easiest route, only downside is the twinge of bitterness whenever she talks about something you have experience with.
