I like the ex-Niji talk personally. I think it takes a very incurious person to not want to know more about the relationships current members had with others in their previous workplaces and use that knowledge to better inform and refine their /in/posting + learn more about the current members in general. I've been a VShojo watcher since almost the very beginning but when people started rrating about Mysta I went and watched a bunch of his things to get to know him before he joined, I watched and posted about my watching a bunch of Nina vods in the leadup to Mata, and I did the same with Mika after stranger-chan's appearance on Giri's stream.
Knowing is half the battle anons. Know your new members before they debut so you can be excited not only about a new member, but also about the possibilities that this person will bring to the table.
