In Lia's infinite grace though she rolled with the ill fitting launch model for her debut offerings until such a time that she was granted her own much better coded terminally online tumblerina cybergirl straight jacket ensemble. While mostly alleviating a large portion of the narrative dissonance between the psychologically deep presentation of the Lia character there undoubtedly lingered a large degree of pressure with the sudden addition of Kaneko Lumi to the ranks of Phase Connect. This very well could have been a tactic by The Fish Headed Man to ensure a positive return on investment by helping to "motivate" Lia to fully commit to her new characterization with the former large breasted blonde bimbo market being fully absorbed into the Loomi market. Not to mention in the slightest the "dueling" thieves aspect of their character narratives.
This move by The Fish Headed Man worked for a substantial amount of time helping Lia to push deep and really begin to dredge up the facets of her personality that really created an appreciable individual personality to her performance. While being an amazingly compatible collab performer with the other personalities in the company her own brand began to suffer as the timing and motivation of some of her content seemed to be positioned "behind the 8 ball" in regards to other performers. Yuri has cornered the fanatical parasocial fantasy demographic usually associated with the demonstrably groomed former tumblerina personality. Pippa has the "fringe" content community safely within her ranks and a growing face to the "introduction" (one might even say eponymous) phase of new chuuba viewers. Lumi continues her meteoric rise with giga Stacy energy and absolute fucking domination of several of the multiple disciplines of the chuuba sphere in almost ironic direct opposition to Lia's weak points.
This leaves Lia in a fighting position to move forward with her continued place within the company. The "menhera" characterization that she epitomizes lends itself to more "intimate" interaction with the unspoken parasocial bonds of financial support and the demonstrable impact of said confidence in her being met with imposter syndrome derision from the performer. She has a super fast wit and when engaging with properties she is passionate about or even comfortable around she can produce stellar content. Due to the timetables of contracted work though the necessity to flex to topical content and be able to generate dynamic moments in new properties seems to be her stumbling block leading to an over reliance on "filler content" (Genshin/rhythm content) that her regulars love but make it incredibly difficult to grow into new viewers.
The main "appeal" of the Lia character is the sensation of "viewing in natural habitat" this amalgamation of niche regularly secluded habits and interests that are expressed through the talent and wit of the performer.
This leaves the Lia status to one of two options. Prior to the Official hiatus announcement there was a general call out from Lia for maros with suggestions for content ideas. This creates a simple binary for Lia Likers to process. Either Lia is tapped out of reliable creative series which she can execute on within the corporate framework of her production OR this is a matter of kayfabe collaborated by the corpo side of things to further bait the parasocial quasi-roommate concern baiting (in the style of Orange Woman) to reinforce the ongoing Lia meta performance.
