if i'm guessing right, based on her head's height off the ground her body will do some canned animations for walking around with some really good IK (makes it look like her feet are properly contacting the ground), but if she raises her head up higher she gets full control over the body with more height so she can move her arms and even legs at full height. i wouldn't be surprised if they have her on a prop trolley or even wheelchair for regular locomotion so she can comfortably stay low while still moving around, or something like that
