It got to a point where it hurt her doing the voice for so long and she would do late-night streams without talking because she wanted to stream and could use the guise of "I can't be too loud or I'll wake the neighbours tee-hee."
It just happened that she had a new model in the works (her original model was an adoptable design she bought but didn't create) so she decided to reveal the new design and her real voice around the same time.
