>>21837553If you speak Japanese flawlessly, like completely indistinguishable from a native if you were on the phone or something for example, then the level of racism you should expect to suffer goes down a lot. At least with people who know you speak the language that well, I mean. Obviously the generic racism you should expect to receive just societally/structurally and from strangers won't change much (unless you have an opportunity to open your mouth).
In general though Japan is a country where if you can stick to the behavioural templates expected of you then things tend to go pretty smoothly. It's also something you can actually do and realistically achieve, unlike for example becoming Pekora and groping Marine's boobs.
