I'm not saying there's zero value in a relationship, because there is value for sure
but if your end goal is just to have a significant other for the sake of having a significant other, you will quickly find yourself feeling just as empty as you started.
There might be another hunk of flesh sitting next to you, but you are no closer to meaningfully connecting with them than when you were miles apart.
