This shit needs to stop. An anime character's hair is arguably their most iconic visual feature and switching it up is one of the easiest ways to fuck their aesthetic and recognizability. It's an integral part of showcasing a character's personality that should not be significantly changed unless their personality changes dramatically as well. Yet vtubers treat it like a goddamn accessory they can swap on a whim. NijiEN in particular hasn't had a single new outfit that wasn't worse than the original hair-wise. Yes, even Reimu. If the original hair needs work the they just need to refine it and fix what parts didn't look so good, not completely replace it and fuck the character's silhouette and visual appeal.
