Liora’s alive, life’s tolerable
>>35479627>humanI found that one out too (not helped by the AI having trouble telling the two’s traits apart) and personally I always feel like characters that aren’t human should have something that’s non-human to justify their existence (hence my reservations on adding elves to /vnug/ even though Lofi’s a half-elf in her lore) which might also be why I keep writing Palkyries to be more bestial than I expected
>colored docI added the link to the bottom of the rentry! I think there might actually be more AI-written stuff scattered in my writing but they aren’t shown in NovelAI due to me copy&pasting them around to make them fit better. I didn’t include those since I reworded many of them and can only remember some of them
>circumstancesI haven’t actually thought about it actually since I started writing this as an experiment more than anything, although it’s inspired by the talk a while back about a Deadbeat visiting /vnug/ and comparing the steam baths to Moriji hot springs. Her taking a ride to /vnug/ definitely makes sense though, and wanderlust’s part of her character so she probably did that often just to travel around the world. It’s probably also why she decided to take a hike with Milphy so that she can enjoy the beauty of the wilderness (without dying)
I also kinda like how Yuno’s name turns out since there aren’t many other names that fit Moriji’s Japanese-Roman naming conventions
>>35479719I’m told the AI performs better when the prompt’s longer so in hindsight I probably should’ve written more before passing it to the AI. Maybe I’ll give it another try and actually use the functions they provide. Might also see how Kobold AI performs in comparison
For the setting, the AI model’s Euterpe (as it’s obvious in my mid-writing posts) and the AI module’s Theme: Travel. I think it probably helps when it comes to describing the scenery so it works well with this particular story. Cross-Genre, General Fantasy, and Medieval might be a better fit since I sometimes have to roll back obviously modern stuff when writing the story but I still think going by specific genre works better overall. I did some test runs with Hunter Gatherer and the result’s pretty interesting. I wonder if Rats would work for Palkyries too…
For Config Preset I tried Genesis and Moonlit Chronicler but ultimately settled with Ace of Spades but that’s more a personal preference than anything. Filling Memory with important character details also helps a lot but the same can’t be said of Author’s Note since the AI keep telling the two to skinny dip in the freezing lake despite me telling the AI that it *will* kill them
