She's technically using the same identity, but nothing really existed of that identity before now aside from the name and the tentative tiger design, so if the IP being owned by Phase was a requirement for joining then she didn't really have much to lose by going for it. Slugma and Jelly on the other hand would've had to sign over a really high quality model and basically her entire solo career, respectively.
