I was in an extremely dark point in my life with constant suicidal thoughts, skipping meals, and obviously a fucked up sleep schedule. I didn't watch or care for chuubas or any streamer really. I wasn't subbed to any chuuba, but would put on random streams as background noise as I mindlessly and repetitively hopped around games like DbD and OW and WC3 ORPGs. For You popped up "what?" and thought, fuck it, some noise to drown out the thoughts. Instead I was enraptured into the loveliness, the silliness, and the earnestness of a silly little girl singing all my favorite songs. Her fear she had when she looked at the viewer count and how shakey she was after, it felt so surreal seeing her overcoming it all. I was falling for her and her willpower. I was hovering the member button right away, but as the concept of paying for a streamer sub was strange and foreign to me, I was apprehensive. Her drawing stream a couple days later was when her silliness completely captured me when she drew the "phoenix" and I finally committed and hit the member button.
