Today I decided to do some max damage combo research besides trying to understand how does the damage scaling actually works.
Basically any imput you do in modern gets you 20% extra scaling UNLESS it is part of the autocombo, in which case it applies normally, which also applies to supers. This means you will have to do the inputs manually for any combo you actually try to make by yourself or the damage becomes next to nothing and in most of the cases its actually better just to do the auto one.
Playing around, I labbed what seems to be as far as I know the highest damage modern combo out there (using youtube and discord as reference(which shows no one gives a fuck about modern I suppose)
I could probably lab something even better but I shouldnt waste any time doing this since rather leave this stuff content farmers anyway.
The lesson of today is that, while labbing is fun, one must not get lost in the fun of labbing neglecting true practice instead.
Sadly, it also shows people who put up modern videos in youtube dont give A SHIT so in the end you gotta find your own way if you choose the road less taken.
