However, I do believe in love.
I love my family despite not really knowing the true them at their core.

While the woman I love may simply be a fiction created by my own imaginations that in no way diminishes my feelings for her.
If it turns out that Pomu is actually a fat ugly balding ojisan male using a voice changer I will still love Pomu.
If she has actually kicked multiple kittens I will still love her.
You don't simply love people for their personality but their actions too and the effects they have had on your life.
