Between the other anon's advice, this cfg rescale, and making sure my reforge was up to date (no idea if this mattered but can't hurt) things have gotten a lot better. Well, I also stole the giant negative prompt from the civitai model page, it's been a while since I've put much in that box but it actually seems needed with this model
