>>21013872You may not be familiar since you're asking, but I've noticed there's some similarities in the way they've shifted to marketing Holostars compared to female-oriented franchises, especially idol ones (just look at how they chose to collab with Kingpri and Argonavis). It's not really just "we're gonna make them pander," they probably want someone who's familiar with media that's targeted towards women, like otome games, mobage, drama CDs, etc. Because that audience is not the same as male otaku who are watching the girls.
Just look at what the JP boys do, I doubt it'll be any different from that. For example most of them don't do BFE but they all have done it to some degree in their voice packs. People bring up NijiEN as a worst case scenario but "content towards women" isn't synonymous with fujoshi. Some talents might be fine with pandering to those fans (Hanakishi, MaFia), but Holostars' general target is yumejoshi.
