Ichikara goes all the way to give as many people the chance to be vtubers, they dont care so much about brand but more expading the world of vtubers and entertaiment for all kinds, incluiding being more lax with the content, debuting much more people and having much more lax moderation (R-18 games, mods, etc, what the vtubers are allowed to do)
Hololive is all about "muh brand and image instead" their fanabase treats them as a religion who can do not wrong and will go all the way to keep the "fantasy" image, which results in much more moderated content, gotta say, hololive wasnt like this like 2 years ago, their content was much more different.
I dont think either are wrong, I like vtubers from both companies like subaru, rena, nui, polka, elira, etc. kinda wish /vt/ stopped acting like a retarded /v/ underage with their tribalistic brain tumors but whatever.
