CGDCT fans might just quietly leave without making a fuss once their content changes focus, while other regular viewers could just go watch the infinite amount of alternatives to the now standardized HoloEN content once they lose what makes them unique. Or maybe nothing will happen, idfk. Either way, it's way too early to see whether this move will have any impact on their numbers in the long run.
