Despite my outrage and moral indignation, I no longer work nightshift because there's no more nightshift at all, so I won't be able to watch as many streams as I used to. My workplace radically changed the work schedule, which in turn made one of my coworkers quit and the other has sank into depths of despair. Both of them are technically my seniors who have worked at the same place for 13 years while I'm on my 7th. Note how one doesn't lightly flush 13 years away, but when shit is fucked it is indeed fucked. The other guy is older than me and is drowning in debt, so now he's in a position where he has to go to work for six days per week, while previously we worked two 12 hour shifts and then had two days off. We now work the usual 8 hours, but this destroyed him because he now has to pay for a lot more gas because he has to drive his dilapidated Fiat from out of the city to get to work. I'm not in danger of losing my job (we actually lack people) but this has now become absurd. This is the first summer where on a macroscale it became obvious that we're deep into the competency crisis because so many people left the country and the imported Nepali slaves I mean workers not only don't know Croatian, but usually don't know English either and I'm pretty sure the majority of them are illiterate. Roughly 400 000 people left for Germany, Ireland etc. since 2013 (entry into the EU) and now it's REALLY starting to show. Nothing that has a point works anymore. The reason I remain in this hopeless shithole is neither patriotism nor a lucrative job (lol) but the fact I own my home and that's my only saving grace. If I didn't have that I'd be gone too.
Basically, I'm angry because I won't be able to watch as many streams as I used to. This was me venting. From my POV most of the girls stream deep into the night. I sometimes legitimately miss that odd period in my early twenties when the 2008 financial crisis utterly broke this fuckhole of a country and I was a NEET with strong hikkikomori tendencies due to that. None of this working adult shit has any merit or purpose and the older I get the more obvious it is.
