Theres no way Maria was not Catholic. As far as Im aware of, Maria is an exclusively Catholic name. Plus her character arc(no pun intended) is self sacrificial, and wanting to save others which would fit perfectly well. Plus she causes Shadow to repent and get his redemption at the end, and is also self sacrificial. Theres no way there wasnt a Catholic writer on the team. Even eggman gets redeemed and turns good. The only one that doesnt get redeemed is my boy metal sonic and hes locked to multiplayer and is a robot so he has no soul anyway.

Do you ever think about your true love and wonder if he's thinking about you? Or you wonder and hope hes not doing things you dont want him to be doing? Do you ever think about him and then your heart starts to beat fast? Even just thinking about him has that effect on you, how he has such a hold of your heart that just thinking about him has physical effects on you. Have you ever imagined your life together with him? Just like imagining the daily stuff youre going to do together? Or imagining being in his arms? In particular like when youre laying in bed and then you imagine his arm around you, holding you while your head is on his chest? At first you hear his heartbeat was normal but then as an immediate effect of you being so close, his heart starts to beat real fast and you dont comment on it but you think its cute you have this effect on him. The same effect he has on you. But then as you remain there his heart starts to settle and returns to normal. Thats fun to think about. Have you ever gone to the store, or restaurant, or even online shopping and thought about him and thought that he would like this or he enjoys this or that? Sometimes I think about everything I just wrote and more (not towards a guy obviously) but I think about that towards my true love from time to time. Okay maybe all the time, you got me. Are you this way also?
