That artist is a one hit wonder, with LALALA being their most popular song with almost 600 million plays.
If you exclude that ONE song, kyOresu has more overall hits than them by a mile. Not only in her original songs, but her covers too.
Their most recent stuff struggles to crack 500k views and THEY have a record deal.
Here's another perspective:
America is an American folk rock band that originally consisted of Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek.
They have 185k subs on youtube. They have been around since the 1960's and their songs are played on traditional radio daily. Their official youtube channel has less plays than her.
YFUBaby across everything she released on never cracked 250k total subs, even though she had a massively trending song on tiktok with De$ign. Her youtube floundered with 25k subs: and she literally got her own studio and advanced rigging and overlay teams with Giga entertainment. She LITERALLY hung out with Timbaland and was produced by his kid. That interview barely cracked 1k concurrent.

If it was ONE song that hit millions of views kyOresu wouldn't be a big deal at all.
But she marketed herself CONSISTANTLY and kept it up, releasing tracks with millions of views over and over and over.
Do you realize how fucking hard it is to do that for ANYONE?
IdolEN REALLY fucked up with her.
She's literally just one tiktok trendy song away from shooting to the top of the hire list at major corpos or becoming another Numi.
Plus, like numi she's comfortable with her fleshtuber and that appeals to yet another audience, on top of the spanish and russian speaking ones that other vtubers don't have the benefit of.
She could really pop off if you know anything about the industry.
