I've been around these groups long enough to say it straight—the whole Indian Vtuber scene is garbage. Everyone acts like they’re running a big agency when they can barely handle a Discord server. Nobody knows what they’re doing, and they make excuses like 'I'm new to this VTubing. ' While some of them have been doing VTubing since 2019, all of them feel like they don't even have a month of experience.
the “corpos” are just kids with delusions of grandeur. fake sub counts, fake hype, zero effort. They bot their numbers so they can look “big” to each other while pulling ten live viewers on a good day, and don’t even start with “management.” Management consists of mods and a guy whose contract expires and is renewed verbally.
Project Starscape? racist, hypocritical, gossip-driven. waconne? inflated corpse running on botted metrics, nepotism and toxic feminism. The shitiest company you can imagine. they’re all the same — people who wanted to copy hololive without the work, discipline, or understanding of what makes vtubing even function.
the “talents” don’t stream. when they do, it’s laggy, awkward, and half-assed. They ignore feedback, blame everyone else, and then cry about “lack of support.” They act friendly in public, then backstab each other in private. every single one of them thinks they’re the victim while being part of the same trash fire.
Even those who do stream they mostly do in English, trying desperately to appeal to an international audience. The few illiterates who can’t speak even basic English are forced to stream in Hindi instead. Most of the indies use pre-made models, while the corporate VTubers usually have custom models that look quite good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the people behind them. Honestly, they should just retire and donate their models to none Indian VTubers
It’s all about image, not effort. They want the clout, the art, the fans — but not the grind that comes with it. They think V-Tubing is just slapping on an avatar and acting cute for a few hours. None of them cares about fans, only about status inside their tiny, dying bubble.
the indian VTubing scene isn’t “small but growing.” It’s already rotting. every “agency” that’s popped up is run by people who shouldn’t even be near a streaming setup. no skill, no management, no professionalism, no self-awareness. just a bunch of amateurs cosplaying as corpos and acting like they’re the next big thing.
