>>100750283This is not a cover problem it's a Japan problem. Quitting is seen as betrayal corporate side and associating with them at work would be seen as awkward and bad taste( bad air ).
Quitting is so bad and uncomfortable that joohatsu culture is a thing. Some people would rather pretend they died and start over then deal with their family or work knowing they quit.
It's not seen as casual like it is in America. Of course it happens but it's almost treated as a firing.
