I can literally only laugh at unexpected jump scares, because they are never really unexpected, there is always a phase of silence or build-up like a long corridor with nothingness or dialog going slowly off rails (suspense). At least the trope can be even more quite humorous when you expect a jump scare, because the first signs of it are being shown, but the medium is backpedaling with a fourth-wall break knowing that you already expected it.
