Madonna-whore is the idea of "You can't keep sexual attraction to someone who you're in a committed relationship with," but jokes and wishes aside, no one here's in a relationship with the girls, but most people here have at least some admiration for them.
So they aren't in the "whore" definition of just sex objects, and they aren't in the "Madonna" definition of a committed, decent partner, either. The relationship is closer to "jerking off while thinking of your co-worker" than anything else, if that explains why people may find it strange.
