Ultimately this is another case of lot of noise over not much. There are a few worries someone can bring, not unfounded yes, but honestly way too unimportant and small to warrant so much anger. Many such cases.

Not everyone is comfortable with voice chat OR has the time for it, it's easy to lose your evening on there and harder to go in and out compared to a text channels. Thus, FOMO is created, especially without logs to catch-up.
However... no difference unless you keep up with every message of #zatsutrash which honestly sounds absurd and you should reconsider your life. Worst case a small group become closer there, but it's already possible with just sitting in trash all day or play the same games together outsides etc., it's nothing special. I'm sure you're not missing out much on 4~5 neets talking about Hololive.

Because of her pasts changes of heart some people are afraid bea would start doing stuff only in the voice channel. I get it, others vtubers do that after all.
You really know Bea that little? How new? 1 on 1 collabs are already a challenge for here, she was struggling in JAPANESE with that otokonoko... there is no chance she just jumps in some group voice chat mic open with random dudes talking English. It's not about changing her mind here, it's just not possible, it's more likely she suddenly starts streaming everyday.
So yeah as often, way overblown and it makes others not even consider the small concerns, having the opposite effect.
