>>84895467To be desu, British/English food for the most part is not bad at all, just a bit plain. Usually not a large amount of spices or seasonings, but when done right with quality ingredients, you can get by with the merits of both the cook and the ingredients.
That's not to say it isn't comfy as hell though. Shepherd's pie is one of my all time favourite foods on earth, no matter where I am, having a plate of it feels like home.
However I cannot understand their obsession with adding beans or peas to nearly fucking everything.
