Now that we have reached the 14th hour, the 50 yard line to the 19th hour, we feel safe in saying that day trading is not entirely dead like we previously thought.
One does, however, have to babysit any plays made, and the 10 minute cooldown makes them nearly worthless. The bot is also far less useful, and basically only helps those who forget to make their clicks.
e.g. We can no longer buy Ina/Haato all morning and count on Takodachis/Haatons to print free money for the great city of Tampa by the 19th hour.
Just like you can really only bet on 5 or 6 sales for an adjustment play, you can day-trade around 3-4 of the same coin without getting bogged by market trends.
We lucked out on a Hail Mary Octo-Ina play today, but only by a hair. Takodachis will always be welcome in the city of Tampa. Fuck squids.
Anyways, this opinion may not be met favorably, but we firmly believe that a reduced 5 minute cooldown might actually balance out the cons from changes to adjustment and volatility without affecting any of the pros.
We will defer finally judgement to the big boys actually making big plays.
I'm still pissed there's basically no way I can pull the Lambo off before divs without making suicidal plays that a poorfag simply cannot afford to. I would've made it without the changes, too, if it weren't for you meddling devs. Fuck you Honk.
P.S. To the oldfags who used to make "press releases" like this a month or two ago, why did you stop? They were some of the best things I found in the archives when I was looking for the "CAPTCHA answers".
